SMART HOME

Gridizen’s platform will integrate with and control a wide range of smart home devices.

We will soon offer smart home bundles containing an array of easily installed devices, which can be retrofitted quickly and affordably. These bundles will include smart light switches, plugs, thermostats, locks, leak detectors, control valves, damp/mould sensors and smoke alarms.

Whether tenant or owner, our selected devices help residents stay safe and take care of their properties.

Landlords and property managers can also benefit from our smart home solution. Smart locks and keyless entry lead to significant reductions in management costs, and smart water detectors can detect leaks before they spread and save thousands in insurance fees.

Our integration with IoT technology allows real-time reporting and monitoring of property details, enabling landlords and property managers to efficiently keep up with maintenance.

Derek is an experienced finance professional and an FCA. He has managed property funds for several firms, including Curlew Capital’s £400m student property fund.

Derek has also chaired investment commitees for a number of organisations, and is responsible for corporate governance at Gridizen.

Burhan Pisavadi

Product Manager

As Gridizen’s product manager, Burhan manages an agile team of developers, designers, QA testers and more to develop Gridizen’s core product.

Burhan has a strong data and technical background, stemming from his MSc in Theoretical Physics.

Ibrahim is a strategy and finance professional, starting his career at DTZ in 2009 and more recently working for KPMG in Strategy.

Ibrahim has worked on high-profile infrastructure projects and corporate M&A transactions, and is a chartered accountant.

Eve is an experienced sales and marketing professional, having directed the brand and growth for several companies.

Eve led the delivery of a serviced apartments business with 1,600 units, and was also a local councillor for the London Borough of Southwark

KAMRAN MAHMOOD

Kamran started his career in investment banking in 1991, before founding his own residential and serviced apartments businesses in 1999.

Kamran grew his property company, MiNC Properties from 2 staff in 1999 to nearly 200 in less than 10 years.
